As a master mechanic, you’ll handle diagnostics, repair, and maintenance work across our fleet of heavy equipment and trucks. Most work is done in our shop, with occasional on-site repairs as needed.

In addition to diagnosing and troubleshooting truck/equipment performance issues, this role requires proficiency in problem solving, prescribing the correct repair, and working with the other mechanics to get the job done.

Technical Skills

• 5+ years of heavy equipment repair and maintenance experience

• In depth understanding of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems

• Expertise with John Deere and Komatsu heavy equipment

• Experience with Class 8 trucks (Peterbilt, Kenworth, Freightliner)

• Familiarity with Jaltest and Autoenginuity software (preferred)

• Welding and fabrication experience

• Basic computer literacy (email, fleet management software, excel)

• Valid driver’s license; Class A CDL or willingness to obtain

• Heavy Equipment Tech certification(s) (preferred)

 

Soft Skills

• Strong communication and teamwork across departments

• Ability to prioritize repairs efficiently and maintain attention to detail
