Heavy Equipment Master Mechanic – $40–$50+/hr + Full Benefits

Outdoor Enterprise is growing, and we need a master mechanic who can help keep our fleet of heavy iron running at 100% in our clean, modern shop. Most of our fleet is late-model (2018–2025) John Deere, Komatsu, Peterbilt, Kenworth, and Freightliner. You’ll fix real problems on nice equipment in a team environment. Our reality is an A-Team in the field, that is supported and enabled by an A-Team in the shop!  If you live for diving into tough diagnostics, despise downtime as much as we do, and take pride in efficient repairs — this is your shop – we want to talk to you today!

What You’ll Do

• Diagnose and repair complex issues on late-model heavy equipment and Class 8 trucks (engine, hydraulic, electrical, drivetrain)

• Perform scheduled maintenance and preventative work to keep machines in the field

• Tackle the occasional field service call when the job can’t come to you

• Work side-by-side with other mechanics

• Weld, fabricate, and customize when needed — we build solutions, not excuses

 

What You Bring

• 5+ years heavy equipment/diesel repair experience (John Deere & Komatsu = big plus)

• Extensive knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems

• Comfortable with Class 8 trucks (Peterbilt, Kenworth, Freightliner)

• Jaltest, Cummins INSITE, or similar diagnostic software experience (strongly preferred)

• Welding & fabrication skills

• Valid driver’s license (Class A CDL or willingness to obtain)

• Heavy Equipment or Diesel Tech certifications are a bonus

• Basic computer skills (email, Excel, fleet software)
